A New Chapter in our lives...

So... Sean is going to open a Jimmy Johns restaurant in Little Rock Arkansas. He found an investor who would like to open several stores actually. Sean has enjoyed starting to interview for management, select crews for construction, and dream about running his own store. The signs came in the mail recently and here he is checking it out. We will be moving to Arkansas soon and with a new little baby, our lives have change pretty drastically recently. I am excited and a little nervous for this new chapter in our lives, but I think it will be a good thing for us!

Baby blessing

Sean's parents came and spent some time before the blessing. Tyler also came! The kids had a great time playing and spending time with them. It's always a joy to have them in our home...

The blessing day...

Brayden wanted to help mommy get the baby dressed while these cute pictures were taken with Katelyn.

These were taken at my parents home after the blessing. Yes, he is a boy with a bonnet... haha. That drives Sean crazy, but it is an heirloom blessing outfit so you got to wear the whole thing right?

Wow! A family of five already!

Pictures of family and friends at the luncheon... This one is my favorite!

Baby Photo Shoot

We took these pictures a week after he was born. Daddy took all of the pictures and these were some of our favorites...

Baby Nathan's schedule...

Sleeping, eating, taking a bath, time in the car seat, being held, being held, and being held. Mommy had to have a c-section so he has been very spoiled being cuddled and held while I was sitting a lot trying to recover. Now he doesn't like being left alone, but that is fine. He is only going to be little for a short while and we can enjoy every minute of it.

Here he is with Katelyn and Brayden after they got home from church... They missed him!

In the car seat for his first check up and having some good dreams...

Bath time! Only a sponge bath still, but trying to keep him warm in the meantime.

First Day Home

Baby Nathan came home on Friday, January 8th. The kids were very excited to see the baby. Because of the H1N1 virus, they would not let any children under the age of 14 into the hospital so they were not able to see him until we got home. When we finally came home, they could not stop laughing. They wanted to hold him, dress him, kiss him and play with him. It was the best new toy they have ever had. Here are some photos of Katelyn when she got a hold of him.

Here is a video of right after we first arrived home. It is cute.

Baby Nathan

Baby Nathan was born on January 6, 2010 at 12:30 in the afternoon. He weighed 8 lbs. 7 oz. and was 20 1/2 inches long. The Doctor held him up and said, "Could he look anything more like his father?" He looks very much like his Daddy. No wonder it was easy for mommy to fall in love with him so easily :) He is as cute as can be! Mom and Dad spent a couple days in the hospital with him. Here are some memorable moments...

Here he is all brand new!

Sean brought him over for me to see for the first time...

Gotta love those goopy eyes...

Grandma and Grandpa came to visit while we were there.

One Day Old!

These are my favorite! I enjoyed all the visitors, but I have to say, my favorite part of the hospital experience was when Nathan and I had some alone time and I just cuddled him. Sean came and took some pictures of us sleeping...
