Christmas Day

Santa Came! Merry Christmas!!!
The kids were so tired when they first woke up... They were excited, but more tired than anything I think by the look on their faces... Kind of funny! Here they are with some of their favorites... Katelyn got her hamster and teacher stuff, Brayden got his legos and knex, and nathan got his train and trike. We opened a couple presents and then went to church. The kids were pretty patient to open the rest when we got home.

Visiting Family in Utah

We went to Utah to visit Sean's family the week before Christmas. We had a great time with everyone. Here are some of our highlights:

Temple Square:

The "Polar Express" train in Heber:

Family Christmas Eve dinner:

We had a gift exchange and read the nativity story. The kids had a great time with that.

We went to the aquarium with Grandma: A highlight was feeding the stingrays.

Sean's highlight of the trip was skiing with his Dad, brothers, and nephew Zach:

School Christmas events...

Katelyn had some fun Christmas activities at school. They had a Christmas sing along...

A "pretend" polar express adventure... They got to wear their pajamas to school and have a "Polar Express" adventure on a pretend train. Then they ate hot chocolate and cinnamon rolls. I got to help set up and be with Katelyn for part of the day.
Here she is with her "Ticket."

Her teacher Mrs. Parker

They also had their big Christmas party before the winter break...
They decorated cookies, made a Christmas ornament, ate snacks, and played some games.

Snow Day

Surprise! We had a snow day in the beginning of December. It was only a light snow though. It melted pretty quickly, but it was fun to have for a few hours of play. Katelyn still went to school, but the boys and I had a good time playing. Brayden's favorite thing was being able to drive his truck in the snow.
