Spending Time with Family

So while daddy was gone, the kids and I either stayed at my mom's or with my older sister.
Here is baby getting some fresh air and Nanny is holding him... Nathan's middle name comes from Nanny's husband who passed away 10 years ago.

Here we are painting eggs with their cousins.

Brayden and Abby fell asleep on top of each other. I thought this was so cute!

Time with Daddy!

Well, Daddy's 7 weeks of training has finally come to an end! These last four weeks he has been gone for 5 days and home for a day and a half. While he was home though, we tried to do some fun things with the kids. Here we are at "Wacky World." It's a great place to get the kids energy out. They love it!

Here we are at the Circus with my parents and my brother and his family. Sean surprised us and came home for that. We weren't expecting him until that night so that was a fun surprise.

We most recently decided to take the kids bowling. We had a great time!

I love this picture!

Baby Nathan is Growing!

Yes, Nathan is definitely Sean's baby! They both look so peaceful. There is just something about a warm baby sleeping on your lap. It is very relaxing!

I wish I had video taped this... He was cooing and smiling at Sean when these were taken on a Sunday morning...

Here he is making some silly "baby faces."

Whenever he is sitting on a couch he always tries to sit up further and he eventually falls forward. He is pretty strong for 2 1/2 months! He weighs 13 lbs already!

Dress up!

Katelyn is always dressing up so I thought I'd make a slide show of some of her favorites even if they are not stylish. We look at some of these and just crack up, but that is what is so fun about being little!

Katelyn is Five!

Wow! I can't believe Katelyn is already 5! She is the sunshine in our home. She is so helpful with Nathan and plays really well with Brayden. She loves to dance and dress up. She changes her clothes several times a day and fixes her hair all by herself. She loves to color, write her letters, and is learning to read easy books. She is such a cute girl! We love having her in our home part of our family! We decided to have a "Dress-up" party. Her little friends who came got dressed up first, then I did their hair, my three nieces helped do their nails and we indulged in fruit dipped in a chocolate fountain. They had a great time...

Mmm... Yummy! If you watch closely, Katelyn changes her outfit three times during the course of the party...

Good choice Katelyn, Very cute!

Mommy did their hair with flower bows that my friend made for each girl to take home... If you would like to purchase your own, check out her website: http://www.etsy.com/shop/shmanessa8

They played some fun games, "Cake walk," "Dancing statues," and here they are playing "Telephone"

Cute picture!

Time to blow out the candles.

Opening gifts, she got some really cute things!

Her family birthday was on Sunday. She woke up and wanted to open her presents right away so we did before going to church. Some of her favorites were her first music box and a fairy glitter globe.

We had a family party at my parents Sunday night... Katelyn and Abby put dress up skirts on pretending that they were "dresses." They do that every time we go and visit. Katelyn, Sean, Nanny, and Hannah all share the same birthday month!
