It's a boy!

So we had our ultrasound last week... It's a boy! Everyone who reads this probably already knows by now, but I still thought it would be fun to post a couple of pictures from the ultrasound.

Here he is stretching... Taking advantage of the space I guess. haha.

He is already flexing his muscles for us. Yep, that's a boy all right!

Here is a picture of his face, I don't know if you can see it that well or not...

Here is the "boy" picture, but it is kind of hard to tell. Once you see it though, it is hard to miss.

Happy 6th Anniversary

Sean and I celebrated our 6th anniversary this passed weekend. We decided to go to Branson for a couple of days. My mom kept Katelyn and Brayden. Thanks mom and dad! Friday night we went to our favorite Mexican restaurant at Branson Landing (an outdoor mall). We were fortunate not to have to wait, but our waitress said sometimes people will wait for three hours before they can get a seat. I can't even believe waiting for three hours to eat dinner! That's insane! It sure was yummy though! We ordered guacamole that they make for you at your table and then we shared the fajitas. Mmmmm...

That evening we went to a fun show called SIX. They are an acapella group and they are amazing! They actually came from Las Vegas not too long ago and they are all brothers. They all have great voices and two of them make the drum sounds in the background a lot of the time so you forget their are no instruments. It was a lot of fun! This is me taking the picture.

And this is Sean taking it... haha I thought it was funny how much he is concentrating.

I guess we weren't quite by ourselves. Here we are almost 5 months!

Saturday we went to the lake. First we went biking. They have a really nice biking and walking trail that follows along the side of the Lake. We rode about 5 miles on the trail and then decided to go swimming at a little beach front they just recently made. The water was really warm, but a little windy so here is Sean trying to warm himself.

After getting cleaned up a bit we went to a Hollywood wax museum. I thought these were so funny! A lot of people have told Sean they remind them of Tom Hanks. Haha. I don't know though...

I definitely don't look like "I Dream of Jeanie," but I used to watch it at my grandma's when I was little.

"Beam me up Scotty."

Watch out for that scary "night rider."

Ooohh... What a hotty!

Yes. It's real gold all right!

Kyleigh's Baptism

My sister's third daughter also had her baptism this weekend. It was special for me because she wore the same dress I wore when I was baptized. Rebecca's oldest daughter wore her dress, her second oldest daughter wore Jody's dress and now Kyleigh wore mine. I will have to hold on to it for Katelyn to wear!

Grandma Nancy took these Sunday morning before she left... I thought they were so sweet!

Grandma Nancy's Visit

Sean's mom came and visited us for a few days. The kids had a lot of fun spending time with her!
On the first day we went swimming. The kids decided to pose for grandma to get some cute pictures.

Then the next day we went to my parents and helped my mom pick green beans in the garden. We picked 52 quarts of green beans and we helped her cut them so she could can them that night. Here we are watching my dad harvest the rest of the onions.

The next day grandma didn't feel very good, but we decided to go to the park, go for a walk, play on the playground, and play some tennis. The kids decided to "go fishing" in the stream that runs along the walking trail.

Then we took grandma to lunch at our favorite little soda shop where the soda and ice cream is 5 and 10 cents.

That evening we went to a "Beauty and Beast" play that my sister Rebecca and her family have been working on all summer. Her three girls were also in the play and she and her husband were Lumiere and Bebette. Rebecca was also assistant director and played the piano with the orchestra. Phew! She was busy this summer.

We went to Branson on Saturday and drove around looking at everything. We rode the "Ducks" which take you out on the lake as well as on the road.

We also did a little shopping. This picture of Katelyn is totally how she is!

We found a beach front by the lake and watch the sun start to go down. It was really beautiful! Thanks for coming to see us Grandma Nancy!!! We love you!

Youth Conference in Nauvoo

Sean had the opportunity to take his Young Men to Youth Conference this year in Nauvoo. He had a really great time with them and they came home with stronger testimonies and some great memories from the experience.

They were able to perform baptisms in the recently built Nauvoo temple.

They went during Pioneer weekend so the pageant was still going on while they were there.

They played some pioneer games by the river while the sun was setting.

During free time, he took them on a buggy ride to see the sights and the shops. He also took them to the records place where geneology was provided for anyone who wanted to find there families. One of the boys had family buried in the cemetery in Nauvoo so they looked up his names and went and visited them. This was the view from the cemetery.

They also visited Carthage jail where the Prophet and his brother were martyred. That was a really neat experience!

They also went on a miniature treck and pulled handcarts for a couple of hours. The boys said that was one of their favorite things they did.
