Halloween Party

For our church "trunk-or-treat" we dressed up as "The Incredibles." "Bob" couldn't dress up with us because he was working, but that's ok. He was "saving the world." Our costumes were pretty easy to put together, I bought the wigs and gloves and most of our clothes were around the house. I borrowed my boots and my friend helped me print off the stickers on our shirts. Although Nathan's sticker came off after an hour, he makes a great "Jack Jack!" I love Brayden's impersonation of "Dash." He was trying to run really fast all night." Poor "Violet" had lost her voice that day so it was easy for her to play her part. Me being "Elastagirl" was pretty easy. I'm a natural superwoman what can I say. Other than my husband not recognizing me, I kind of look funny as a red head!:) It was a lot of fun!

Another JJ Store

Sean just opened another Jimmy Johns in Downtown Little Rock. So far it has been crazy busy! We are so excited and grateful that it has been such a success! Here are a few pictures about a week before opening...

"Chick" sitting

Katelyn got to baby sit a little chick for a school project recently. She enjoyed every bit of it. Here she is tucking it in for the night...

She recently had her harvest festival fundraiser at school. Here she is with a mouth full of candy beside her friend Lydia.

Brayden's Soccer

Brayden played soccer this fall... This was a great sport for him. Nonstop running and stealing the ball! Lots of goals and lots of foot work... It has been perfect! He has a tendency to push, but he loves to steal the ball and take it all the way. He has been learning a lot about team work recently and has enjoyed working with his team mates.

Brayden's 5th Birthday

Brayden turned 5 at the end of September. We invited some of his friends to the "Funland" park with carnival rides and a train. They had a great time playing. Brayden's theme for his party was Transformers. This was the most labor intensive cake I have ever made, but it turned out great. I learned a lot about making homemade fondant and molding it into a Transformer. The entire cake is edible. The car is the cake and Bumblebee is made out of rice crispy treats and fondant. Brayden loved it! It was worth it! He had a great birthday thanks to everyone who made it special for him.

Taylor Swift Concert!

Sean and I recently went to a Taylor Swift concert... He got tickets 5 rows from the stage in the center row. She was so close and what an amazing concert! We had a great time! The pictures are a little blurry because we only had our phones...

First Grade!

Katelyn is in the First Grade!
She loves it! She has a great teacher and one of her best friends from last year is in her class again this year too.
Got to love the uniforms!!! She lost her first front tooth during the summer and then her second front tooth a month after school started. She looks and talks quite differently now. Still cute and sweet as ever. Her reading as gotten so well. She reads scriptures all on her own now when we have our family scripture study. I only had to help her with one word tonight! Pretty awesome!

Father and Son Outings

Sean and Brayden have recently had some fun little experiences together.
Brayden went to scouts with Sean during their flight merit badge...

They also took a Saturday with Sean's friend Brian and drove down to the BYU and Old Miss game in Tennessee. They had a great time and yes they were on TV for a couple of clips during the game. Grandpa Miller caught a glimpse of it for us.

Miller Family in Utah

Just before school started for Katelyn at the end of August, we decided to visit Sean's family in Utah. We had a great time with his siblings and parents. Wish we could live closer to them and always enjoy their company. Here are some highlights from our family photos we took while we were there.

Every night Uncle Tyler and Grandpa Mark serenaded us to sleep. I tried to take some guitar lessons from their expertise.

One of our favorite things we did was boating at Deer Creek. Sean did some wake-boarding and the kids enjoyed the tubing. Even Nathan got to do some tubing. Thanks Miller family for a fun day on the water.
