Katelyn's 6th Birthday

For those of you who have seen the movie Tangled, you will recognize some of the things we decided to do for Katelyn's party. Since Repunzel was stuck in a tower, she painted, baked, read books, and fixed her hair so we thought it would be fun to do those things too. The girls got to paint, decorate cupcakes, and I fixed their hair with flowers. We had the book Tangled on CD so Katelyn turned the pages for them while they listened to the story. We also let them dance around and eat some of the food like at the palace market. It turned out really cute. The girls had a good time!

Here they are painting...

Decorating cupcakes...

We made these cute jello cups or "boats" like the boat ride she has with Flynn.

Too Cute!

Happy Birthday Katelyn!

I'd have to say this is probably one of my most favorite cakes I have made for my kids' birthdays. The tower is made out of fondent and ice cream cones. Then I painted on the food coloring and icing. The waterfall in the back is a special icing gel. It was a lot of fun. She loved it!

She got lots of fun gifts too. A microphone, aqua sand, bracelets, a mini scrapbooking kit, and more. Thanks everyone!

More Snow

The kids had fun playing in the snow a little differently this second time we got some. We decided to make an alligator instead of a snowman... Front view

Tail view... but you can't see it that well.

They also had a great time carting snow around with Brayden's truck. Here is a picture of him and his new best friend Ayden.

Hours of fun!

I had a roll of newspaper paper so I decided to put it on my wall and let the kids have at it. My friend and her daughters came over to join the fun. We got some cute pictures of the kids painting a masterpiece that is now hanging on their wall in the toy room!
(Katelyn was wearing her hat she made at school for their "100th day of school")

My friend's daughter Becca...

Nathan is just too cute! I had to throw a picture in their of him.

It's hard getting a picture of him standing because he is always in motion walking towards you.

Little Nathan...

Brayden is a little "clone" of his Daddy and so is Nathan. Here they are wearing glasses from a 3D movie. So funny!

Nathan is getting more and more fun!

He is doing really well walking too!

Monster Truck Rally

Daddy and Brayden went on a "Guys night out" to the Monster Truck Rally in the Verizon arena here. They had a great time. Brayden LOVES monster trucks and pretends to have a rally with all his trucks every morning. He loves to watch videos on you tube of monster trucks too! He is so funny. Here are some pictures and videos of their fun night.
