The Old Mill

We went to a place called the "Old Mill" where they filmed the opening scenes of "Gone with the Wind." It's very close to where we live. Our friends took some pictures of us while we were there.

Family Birthday...

So we had a family birthday and let him open his presents after church on Sunday since that was his real birthday.
Some of the things he asked for were trucks and trailers of course, legos, a watch, games, and puzzles...

Happy 4th Birthday Brayden!

Brayden had his fourth birthday this passed weekend. He wanted a "How to Train your Dragon" party. Mom decided to get creative and make the most of it. He invited several little friends from church. Their were nine friends that were able to make it. They had a great time. We had a jumping castle that my friend loaned to us...

I made a dragon for them to "Pin the Flame on the Dragon"

Brayden actually took this picture of his friend Bryson...

We played "storm the castle" with water balloons...

Brayden got pretty wet!

I also made a dragon pinata...

Time for presents! Thanks everyone!

Cake time!

It took me a couple hours to ice the cake so I thought I would show it off a little in the slideshow:) He loved it!

Our Favorite Park

There are so many parks here in Little Rock. Seems like every time you turn a corner there is another park for every neighborhood. Out of all the ones we have visited, this is one of their favorites...

Nathan eating a sucker

This is Nathan's first experience with a sucker. Don't worry, I won't let him choke on it... He just really wanted to be a part of the kids eating their candy so I thought this was cute!

Trio Blocks

Trio Blocks have been a favorite in our home. Ever since we have gotten them, both Katelyn and Brayden love to build things with them all the time. When Daddy comes home, he builds things with them and they come up with some pretty amazing designs from castles, to houses with garage doors, to dinosaurs, to spaceships, to boats, to stairs, you name it! Here are some that Brayden has built and Daddy helped with the "Brayden lego man"

Brayden's race car...

So Brayden has a car that you can wind up and then push a button to let it go. Daddy got a little inventive and decided to see if it could jump over things. Katelyn and Brayden decided they would see if the race car would clear the jump over them. My favorite part of this video is Brayden's eyes blinking right before the car takes off. It makes me laugh every time!

Katelyn's Hair

Katelyn and I went to find some shoes for her at the mall. Needless to say, we were lured and convinced to get our hair curled and straitened for free. Katelyn's hair turned out so cute we came home and took some pictures in her favorite "princess" dress. I can't believe how fast she is growing. She is so beautiful and so sweet. She really loves school and tries to please her teacher. She has made lots of friends and she is such a good big sister to Nathan and Brayden. I only wish I could freeze time and keep her from growing so fast.

Eight Month Old Nathan...

So little Nathan has figured out how to pull himself up and stand while holding on to things. He was supposed to be sleeping the other day and I walked in to find him standing up, holding onto his crib, and playing with his mobile. He pulls the table cloth off the table, the DVD player off the shelf, and loves to get into everything he knows he shouldn't. I can't believe he just turned 8 months and he is already doing all of this. I love taking the kids to the library and this last time he was pulling all the books off the shelves and the puzzles off their shelves. It was pretty crazy. He still is the cutest thing!
