Tennis Lessons

The kids went to a tennis camp at the beginning of the summer... They had a good time learning some basics of playing tennis. Here they are the first day learning their "ups and downs."

Katelyn had a great swing even though she didn't always hit the ball and Brayden is a natural like he is with all sports!

Summer Swimming

Summer days have been mostly the pool...  We go to the library reading program on Wed., play dates with friends during the week, working in the garden, canning food, and then SWIMMING!  It has been a hot summer and the kids love the pool...  We have been to MO twice to be with family, but when we are home, we spend most of the time here.  Brayden has become a great swimmer and Katelyn too.  Nathan is good to go with his floaties!

Nathan loves his little squirt gun!!!

Katelyn and Brayden are pretty good off the diving board...

Daddy comes after work sometimes.  They have a great time with him!  Everything is always better when Daddy's around!

These are fun!  Their favorite thing to do when Daddy comes!

Garden

Our garden has done really well this summer... We have been able to get green beans, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, pumpkins, cantaloupe, eggplant, herbs, and broccoli. It has been really great. This is what the garden looked like when summer began. We had a warm Spring so we got started early.

This was also one of our harvest on a Saturday morning when it just started producing good...

Katelyn's Room

I love the way Katelyn's room turned out...  The colors are a little more blue than they look in these pictures, but I had fun painting it and painting the flowers and grass along the bottom.

This picture might be hard to read the saying, but it is above her bed and easier to see without a flash. It says, "Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, it became a butterfly."

Boys' Room

I worked on the boys' room this Spring. I decided to go with red, white, and blue.  I painted and Sean put up the Bead board.  I have a few more things to do in there, but it's coming along. I like the way it turned out. They like it too... Especially their bed with the slide!

I made the letters with mod podge and scrapbook paper.
