Photo Shoot of the kids

My friend Lindsey took these pictures of the kids and edited them. I thought she did such an incredible job. Here are some of our favorites.

My absolute favorite...

While we were taking pictures, an older man was taking his boat out and told the kids they could hop in before he left. Needless to say, Brayden was in heaven. So cute!

1st Tooth to Lose!

Katelyn lost her first tooth the night we got back from Thanksgiving! Daddy looked at her tooth and said, "Hmm... Yeah that looks ready" and pulled it right out for her. She was giggling about it. She was very excited, but she didn't want to leave it for the tooth fairy because she didn't want the tooth fairy to take it. Needless to say, we left a note and asked her not to take her tooth so the tooth fairy wrote a note back and said just this once. haha. Kids are so fun! Here is a picture of her. So fun!

Thanksgiving

Katelyn and Brayden both had Thanksgiving dinners at their schools. Brayden had one with his preschool, but I didn't get to go to his. I got to help with Katelyn's though. Here are some pictures from hers. They dressed up as Indians...

This is Katelyn's friend Lydia...

Her class and her teacher...

We drove up to my parents and had Thanksgiving with our family in Missouri... Our friends, the Frosts, came with us. Lindsey and I drove up with the kids a day early and helped make pies and get things ready. Then Sean and Brian came the next day and joined us that night. It was really fun having our friends with us. Sean and I both enjoyed having their company making the drive there and back. We had a great time with everyone! It was a full house at my parents which makes it so fun. Here are some pictures that my friend Lindsey took of our weekend...

Grandmay Nancy's Visit!

Sean's mother came down from Utah to visit with us. We are always lucky to have Grandma Nancy come. The kids look forward to it and love spending time with her. Here are some of the highlights of our week together...

We took the kids to the Children's museum with one of my friend's and her daughter the day after she got here. She also took time to eat lunch with katelyn at school which was a highlight for Katelyn. Brayden made a point to make sure Grandma got to eat lunch with him too at his preschool. The kids didn't have school that weekend so it was nice to have more time with Grandma.

We took Grandma to Lakewood Park and a place called Old Mill. It's a beautiful area to go walking and let the kids play.

I love these pictures of the kids with Grandma...

Another fun and exciting highlight was that we got to see the Broadway play Wicked. It was so fun! We have been listening to the sound track ever since. Loved it!

We made a little stop at Target one day and it turned into "fun with nut crackers." Who would have known that my kids love to play with nut crackers, but they were a hit with all three of them. Grandma found a ballerina one for Katelyn and she sat with it reading her book. Brayden found a pirate one and was lining them all up sword fighting. Nathan couldn't stop laughing at them "biting" his finger. It was pretty cute! Kids remind us to find joy in the simplest things.

On Saturday we all rode bikes on a river trail at a huge park called "Burns park." It is one of our favorite trails. So beautiful!

We got some cute pictures on one of the playgrounds there too...

On Sunday before church Grandma sneaked some cute pictures of the kids with their kittens.

We went to a place called "Pinnacle Mountain" Sunday afternoon. We had a lot of fun at the park there. There are a couple of funny videos of Sean and Nancy on the see-saw I will have to post here soon, but here are some of the kids and I.

The day before she went home, we took Brayden and Nathan downtown by the Arkansa river where there are lots of shops and a river trail. We went to the Peabody Hotel where they let the ducks march to the pond for their morning feeding. Pretty cute!

Sean was very excited about his new flat screen tv. Grandma got this picture of him doing the splits.

Nathan also started standing on his own more with Grandma's encouragement. He's getting closer!

Thanks Grandma for a great time! We love you and miss you already!
